Education : Vending Machines

Many premises use vending machines to meet the catering needs of the public and or staff. These may be points of sale for beverages, confectionery, snacks and meals (meal vending may require supply of microwave or re-heating facility).

Remember that a vending machine is a point of sale for food products, and as such preparation and sale of such products must comply with Food Safety Regulations.

Regular electrical Safety checks in accordance with Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) will need to be undertaken by a competent person.
